Betty Anne Clark is a senior manager with more than 35 years experience in both the private and public sector. As Director, Laboratory and Infection Control at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto she successfully met organizational challenges using her well developed interpersonal and leadership skills. An energetic and assertive achiever, her strengths include team building, negotiation along with conciliation, grievance and arbitration, project management, problem solving and management training. Betty Anne is a trained auditor for the Ontario Laboratory Accreditation for Quality Management Program, using ISO15189 as the reference standard.

Betty Anne has been actively involved in adult education for many years, specifically with the Ontario Management Development Program at Sheridan College. She has continually demonstrated her skill in the effective presentation of course materials and ability to meet a variety of student needs. Also known as an effective facilitator and an energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining speaker, she is frequently sought out to deliver programs and presentations at local, provincial, national and international professional meetings and conferences. She has presented on a wide variety of management and regulatory topics.

A founding member of the Trillium Chapter of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA), Betty Anne is an active member of the CLMA, the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science and a past member of the Ontario Society of Medical Technologists. She was elected to the College of Medical Laboratory Technologist of Ontario in 1999 and is presently in her second term with Council. She has held the position of Vice President Professional for two years, has chaired the Discipline Committee and is currently a member of the Executive Committee. Betty Anne is also a trained accreditor for Ontario Laboratory Accreditation for Quality Management Program - Laboratory Services.
